POSTAL SLIPS

POSTAL SLIPS When you sort someone's parcelAnd place the slip in the wrong boxSomebody, somewhere, somehow suffersHow do you count the cost?On perishables and time bad supplies When the counter hand for box entriesOffers services to the publicWith absent mindednessThis testifies to her emptinessAnd the sorry state of the system What damage have we done?To the National Postal serviceStill struggling to surviveWith untrained personnelIn an age of electronic mails

I agree

Once sent a letter of thanks out to Arizona to my new cousin (was maid of honor at her wedding) and it literally took a week to get there. It had, no lie, 5 different post marks on it, one, I believe, was from Kansas... no where on the flight path I would think.... Untrained, and uncaring personnel has become more the norm as of late. Customer service is a thing of the past. You might as well talk to a wall - you might get better information out of it. ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- "Johnny was a chemist’s son, but Johnny is no more. What Johnny thought was H2O, was really H2SO4...."

Jess K.

Thank you for the reading and for the comment. Our postal service needs a complete overhaul to serve the public better. Cheers and best wishes.

The system here

is so bad, a government agency, there is this nonchalant attitude to things. This makes a bad case even worse. Best wishes. T.

Bad poetry?

The staff at 'NIPOST' are half educated, so they make avoidable mistakes, but I don't know what you mean by bad poetry. I am a story teller. Best wishes. T.
