Life hasn't Ended

How wonderful life is,
when it hasn't ended.

Children running in the
playground, without a
care in the world.

How wonderful life is,
when it hasn't ended.

The high school prom
where you meet your
love.

How wonderful life is,
when it hasn't ended.

A wink and a smile,
how love got started.

How wonderful life is,
when it hasn't ended.

The beautiful home
that I worked to build.

How wonderful life is,
when it hasn't ended.

Just one week ago
a mild heart attack.

How wonderful life is,
when it hasn't ended.

(on Sept. 15 2008 at
the age of 54 I had a
mild heart attack, three
days in the hospital
and a new diet. We'll
see. I pray not to have
another.  The day before
my attack, Sept. 14 : I
submitted aPoem called
"Near Death" How ironic)

Mild Attack

Your attack may have been a gift in disguise! Think of all those events that you took for granted & now have shared with us. Be aware of you mortality and stay well! Brighty

A gift

Brighty, Thank you, But I have always believed that life is a gift. The hard part is Sharing it with people outside my family. It's funny the day before my attack, on Sept 14 I posted a poem named "Near Death" truly ironic. "live long and prosper" (Spock, Star Track) Eddie "do like the barren tree: flourish. Hope you're well on the mend, my friend. Life can be fantastically cruel, but in the end, I'm glad to be alive as well. Keep chuggin'! ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- "Johnny was a chemist’s son, but Johnny is no more. What Johnny thought was H2O, was really H2SO4...."
