Gizzy Died

Simon's cat, Gizzy died on Thursday
my Skype was down for some unfathomable
reason and now it's as though nothing
happened in my world
but his best friend has died,
and I know what mourning is
in England or Ohio, the tears that flow
taste the same.

Wet and salty.

There are those who say: " Save your tears
for the living", there are those who say:
"Save your tears for humans."

I wonder what makes us human.

I wonder how we cross oceans.

I wonder if oceans are really human tears.

Tears flow the same for loss of humans or animals. If the ocean is made of human tears, maybe that is why it it is salty. I am sorry about Gizzy. I was born and raised in Salem,Ohio. Are you anywhere near there?

I live in a suburb of Cleveland, Parma... Life is so short and we bicker and cause small hurts and cause one another horrible pain by our selfishness and greed. What a world! (and it's a small one i see;-) ~Anna
