The Butterfly Song

The Butterfly Song

The butterfly sang
The day your journey ended
Passing through the birth canal
September 16, 2008

Daddy cut the cord
That connected you to mommy
Breathing on your own you came
7:25 Tuesday morning

God breathe life into your body
Flipping the switch
Taking your first breathe
You cried in daddy’s ears

No more waiting
For the happy occasion
Branden’s boy, grandma’s joy
Mama’s baby, granddad boast

God's glory, the angels applause
the boy love produced and God created

I love it!

I still have the shirt I wore when I cut the cord, the day my son was born. Still stained with blood drops, I have not worn or washed since. Congrats, Mark

God flipping the switch

Barbara, A grandchild, our second beginning. their the ones that extend our life, long after we're gone. Congratulations, your joy tells me that this is your first. We as Grandparents get to spoil and teach from our infinite wisdom. Barbara what a beautiful child, may God bless him and keep him safe. I understand your joy, I have nine (9) grandchildren they are the light of my life. Barbara

Have you gotten the warm fuzzies from holding him yet? There's just a feeling that's indescribable and few things evoke it. I got it when holding our niece, Lily. She was so tiny, and so delicate. I usually don't like kids, but holding this little soft baby, and hearing her little sighs actually put a smile on my face. Seeing her face light up, and that little smile when she saw Jon was just too adorable. I hope you get to enjoy him every day! :~) ~Jess K. ---------------------------------------------------- "Johnny was a chemist’s son, but Johnny is no more. Birth is so... so many things. It almost makes sense that pain is present because so much is in the making. Beautiful writing.
