Curiosity charm

Who killed the cat?
Who got the better of me?

Come here and see

 Under false pretences
 Rules misguarded
 I crept in

 Overheard conversations
 Sly remarks
 I feasted on

 Try telling me
You did not want me here

LOL, are you talking about me?

yes I know what this feels like. We always know, whether it is said or not. Nice structure, straightforwardness sublimes into poetry cheers, Jess "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety" Benjamin Franklin, wonder what he would think of the Patriot Act.

No, I wasn´t talking about you.

But, as you said, we have all been there. And has it done us any good? I guess there is a kind of curiosity that is sound, a "hunger for knowledge", that can be satisfied and makes you feel good. But most often, there is the wrong kind of curiosity... Thanks for your comments and your friendship, ID

I wrote a poem titled "Sarcasam" which said pretty much the same as you just did. Linda
