Liquid Devil
In amber pools
it flowed,
gentle as
a brook
Alongside of it
I lay,
as a submissive
lover would
I sipped the
luscious bubbles
so cold upon
my lips
The peace
I found in
new-found love
soon had me
in her grip
I had been seduced
preyed upon,
by weakened will
M world turned
upside down
experiencing a
living hell
Amber pools
no longer flow
they've dried
like arid desert
I had to sever
all the ties
to my former
lover;
liquid devil
