Sillohettes
Mountains
reflect in the water.
It is still, as a
mirror image.
Of black and blue
silhouettes lie motionless
So calm so still.
Roads roll on
forever racing
towards the horizon.
Trees and mountains
rise to reach the sky.
Water flows slowly
constantly.
Sunlight dances
on the water.
Night falls,
temperature drops.
Cold moon rises up
from behind the
mountains,
So slowly.
So many stars
are out in the night sky.
I stare at the water below
ripples appear.
Something stirs
just underneath.
Will it surface?
What magic
lies beneath,
and above.
Shapes shifting,
reflections,
ever changing.
reflect in the water.
It is still, as a
mirror image.
Of black and blue
silhouettes lie motionless
So calm so still.
Roads roll on
forever racing
towards the horizon.
Trees and mountains
rise to reach the sky.
Water flows slowly
constantly.
Sunlight dances
on the water.
Night falls,
temperature drops.
Cold moon rises up
from behind the
mountains,
So slowly.
So many stars
are out in the night sky.
I stare at the water below
ripples appear.
Something stirs
just underneath.
Will it surface?
What magic
lies beneath,
and above.
Shapes shifting,
reflections,
ever changing.
