HARVEST MOON
Yellow harvest moon, hanging low
In the sleeping midnight sky
Round and glowing, as if pregnant
As is the earth below, with her
Harvest ready to come forth
Leaves of yellow-gold and red
Wander from the trees above and
Paint the ground below
Fall is here, and winter is near
And we say farewell to Summer
