The End of the Road

The End of the Road

Crushed, my life is no more
I find myself disconnecting
My world as I know it is gone
All that I love, thought love me
Is but a joke

I gave my all losing self
Now I'm back at square one
Living in a cruel black hole call life
My hope fly like a bird
Too far for me to reach

Maybe I’m naïve or just plain stupid
To think wanting the best for everybody
Begat fairness in this cold dead world
Giving up life for the ones, you love
Just to get a swift kick in the gut

That’s life.

OMG Barbara

This one is scary. I am so sorry for all your misery. May tomorrow bring a better day. BTW, this is very powerful! Respectfully, Rett: "The only thing observable with the naked eye to exceed the speed of light is rumor" Unknown

I had heard..

... an interesting quote, that: "when you're flat on your back, the only way to look is up.." Hope today brings a better day. ~Jess ---------------------------------------------------- "I hope no one asks me to show them the ropes; I have no idea where they are. Maybe I can pull some strings and find out...." - George Carlin
