only read
Poe.

I think of the wealth
of words
of mind to pen crash
landing on paper,

and how stunned I am
that the curious

act can even
exist. breaking the back

It is amazing to me, too

that people wouldn't take the opportunity to take a freely offered look into others' lives. I think the way you've stuctured this captures that sense of being stunned. The short lines give it that halting sense of someone in shock. I esp. like stanza 2, which reads like a raised eyebrow of disbelief.
