The Highway of Life

The Highway of Life

He follows his dream
wherever it takes him
on life's highways
leading to his very ruin.

Chasing after windy prospects,
he never gets a break
losing his wits along the way
he fight to keep his hope alive.

Finding love missing fame,
he has become a easy prey
refusing counsel, love and directions
he looses sight of wise decisions.

Coming full circle twice in his life
he’s home once more to try it again
with a baby boy this time around
he continue to follows heartfelt passions.

The Highway

This one missed out on reading the highway code, I guess there is one in the States as there is here, there is also a book of life, that is not written but handed down by word of mouth, Father to children or Mother to children, it is not always the parents that are to blame for bad driving though is it..... Liked the piece though, with the full circle from Home to Home, Yours, Ian.T
