MY LIFE, THE THICKET OF CHAOS...

My Life, The Thicket Of Chaos…

( The perjorative word*cunt* is used in the
Oxford Dictionary sense of 'mean or obnoxious person.')

The raw , rasping, mess of mythering meddlers,

                   in my life.

The powerful, potent patriarchs, slewing, slippery

                   shite,

                   over my life.

The greedy, grasping, gullible, consumers, consuming

                   all

                   in my life.

The selfish, scheming, stinking,financiers, failing

                   plans,

                   in my life

The taking, tracking, testing, taboos tainting

                   all,

                   in my life.

To all the creaking, constipated cunts above -

                  you are all
                  making my life,

                 A thicket of chaos!

Hi Panella

Emotions expressed strongly and in no uncertain terms. I love the alliteration and the title too. Cheers ... Leonard

Railling...

Hello Leonard, Thanks for the cheer...I'm afraid I was ranting on a bit. It was reflecting my mood. Another taxbill! Another demand for my time! Another wasted journey! All the petty frustrations of the day, rolled into a plea for humanity to just get off my back and to let me BREATHE! Ever get one of those days, when the well of human compassion, just dries up? Regards, Ellie.

Panella, Your poem profoundly expresses the curse of modern day living -strongly worded and beautifully presented poem. It makes your agony infectious. It touches the reader's heart. An enormously beautiful write. Mohammad
