Circus of Fools

fool
thinks its cake
he's eating
his eyes
are empty
oval shaped objects
inside
his rather
larger than life head
there sits
a bubbling brain of deception
whatever
is happening in front of him
isn't actually happening
the cake
he eats
exists
within its own compounds
yet
it is not
a part
of the revolving balls
non stop entertainment

some
may say
that he is not
a part of
the revolving balls
non stop
entertainment crusade
but
they would be wrong
as his being here
inside this poem
he has been given life

the fool
may
one day
wake up
and accept
his part
in this circus
of here and now
been and gone
in the ongoing production
of infinite movements
