I Still Hold Her Hand

I Still Hold Her Hand

Stars glow like diamonds
On a tapestry of night.
The moon a milky opal
Viewed by candle light

Amber sparkles in her eyes
Like softly glowing coals.
Hair wild as a storm-tossed sea
That breaks on rocky shoals.

A lovely, spicy fragrance
That lingers in one's nose.
A tinkling, bell-like laughter
That lightens up the soul.

Thirty plus years of happiness
Wrapped in a golden band.
Thirty-four years of tenderness
And I still hold her hand!

Hmmm....

Mark - Here's my question: how do you know he needs it? :~O LMAO, just kidding. Rett - fantastic job as always. I hope everyone can find this sort of happiness. ~Jess ---------------------------------------------------- "I hope no one asks me to show them the ropes; I have no idea where they are. Thanks for the giggle Jess

I need it right now.Mark and Jess, as for the Viagra, luckily I don't need it yet and couldn't take it if I did. My sorry ass daddy was still going strong at 85 when he got killed coming back from a date with a 22 year old. Hoping to be as active, just not as sorry. Awesome Cat!

Funny, sometimes it seems like such a short time and other times it seems we've been together forever, yet still just a little time. She is my best friend first, lover second and I think that may be the key. Much obliged and my respects for a long marriage. Respectfully, Rett: "If life is a bowl of cherries, why am I in the pits?" Holding hands

Smiles:) Barbara My kids run in embarrassment and complain when me and their dad hold hand in public, saying we too old for that, that's for young people. we just say we are not dead. We still hold hand, but more so now to keep me from falling over as I won't use a walker. Head hard as brick I hate to admit.

I understand Barbara

I dread having to use a walker. I keep a cane in my truck and one in the house along with a pair of crutches that I take when we go on long trips. I never know when I will need them. ((friendly hug)) Respectfully, Rett: "If life is a bowl of cherries, why am I in the pits?" Erma Bombeck

Thank you easy

I appreciate it, but like you 35 years ago, I wouldn't have bet money on love. I thought it was just a word. Respectfully, Rett: "If life is a bowl of cherries, why am I in the pits?" Erma Bombeck
