Hospital Stay
Hospital Stay
Laying in the bed
I am tested for seizures
hooked up to an EEG video
I sit watching my brain waves
on a computer screen
When words is lost,
my mind wanders
unable to grasp
who I am, where I am
how I got here
Jaded I feel witless
no sense of self
in this wasted flesh
looking for something
unobtainable
With ebb, potency
I bear flashes of heat
brought on by
stresses hidden
building deep within
