I Bleed Into Creatures

I bleed into creatures,
creations,
characters, representations
of myself
caught
in the light of sudden
awareness,
one I at-a-time,

and now and then
a flock of seagulls,
now a raven's call,
a heron's easy grace,
a Pink Star Asterioidean
butterfly koi,
an electric eel,

a moonlit decadent ballroom gown,
a cave drawing in Lascaux,
fossils in a tar pit,
Krishna's devoted Gopi,
a hungry street urchin,
a grieving grandmother
dressed in solemn black,

these seasons of myself
revolve
open doors
beyond
bone-laced curtains,
windows
of infinity,

I am seamless
and with no contradictions
left to bury
I raise myself from the dead,
merge
into the tender dawn of mercy,

distinct less,
pointless

a price above rubies.

i bleed into creatures

love this one from u. but, this a complicate poem for me, quite. to understand it, i have to read it twice. and to actually feel it, i have to read it another two tmes. maybe that is just a sign that tell how bad a poet i am. but, in the end, i have to admit that ths a good poem. Great effort on this one.

it’s one of those poems

it's one of those poems that flowed through my hands, and every time I read it something else unravels in me. ;-) Thanks Z.

To be at one with all these things is soul speak, but I would have liked to see you on a happy day, or did I read it wrong. If so sorry, the price above Rubies must surly be you in you resting state, Yours, Yenti

Sometimes I write even keel,

Sometimes I write even keel, and those days words flow through me; neither joyful nor sorrowful, things are just the way they are. I guess one might call it speaking from the soul ;-) ~A

well above rubies

another one! all right.. that does it.. I'm picking up my pen! lol... great write here Anna.. I agree with Yenti in that you ended it with a sad note.. but isn't life often sad...people that are always smiling make me leary and think of motives... enjoyed the read... Richard

hmmm. strange I thought I

hmmm. strange I thought I hit the submit button yesterday, Moon-man, guess I didn't ..... Lol.. So it's a pen in hand 20 paces at the first light of dawn? Sadness is part and parcel of my life. As long as the bliss and the ache is there, I know I am alive. Love. Anna
