PHANTOM LOVE
PHANTOM LOVE To learn how to love, I created you The feeling left me spellbound And there you were my phantom love I desired nothing else but you In the pages of books I read; In work place and in my dreams I prostrated before your feet And stretched my hands to behold you The empty space which graced my hands Brought a cool chill to my spine I looked again to where you stood But you were not there Not even thinking of me I was only a living pity In cloud-cuckoo-land
