PHANTOM LOVE

PHANTOM LOVE   To learn how to love, I created you The feeling left me spellbound And there you were my phantom love I desired nothing else but you In the pages of books I read; In work place and in my dreams I prostrated before your feet And stretched my hands to behold you The empty space which graced my hands Brought a cool chill to my spine I looked again to where you stood But you were not there Not even thinking of me I was only a living pity In cloud-cuckoo-land

Thank you very much

I actually want to write a very long poem, broken into bits like this. I searched for a theme that would take the stretch, aha! 'Phantom love' came into my head. It will have to be all the dissappointment in relationships I can find anywhere. So I am just starting. Thank you for the reading and comment. Cheers.

Thank you

It is an attempt to enter into the minds of those who are infatuated. I hope to explore further. Thank you for the reading.

I clap my hands to your

I clap my hands to your muse. I have written of a dream (phantom) love once or twice. It is a limitless subject to work with. Loves imagined can be everything we want them to be. The senses reel with possibility. Nice choice. Dana
