Paper Shredding
I sit, quiet as a feather.
As still as glass.
And ready myself.
Waiting.
Controlling my breathing - steady in, steady out.
Maintain focus.
Relax.
I let my eyes blur.
My grip tightens evenly.
Wrists lock.
My sight picture aligns.
A final inhalation.
Exhale.
My finger flexes....
BULLS-EYE!
As still as glass.
And ready myself.
Waiting.
Controlling my breathing - steady in, steady out.
Maintain focus.
Relax.
I let my eyes blur.
My grip tightens evenly.
Wrists lock.
My sight picture aligns.
A final inhalation.
Exhale.
My finger flexes....
BULLS-EYE!
