The Answer to my Dilemna

Light erases Night's dark skies,
and then, the shadows evaporate.
It matters not, where one calls, "Home";
what matters, is one's mind's state.

I sincerely hope, the times are few...
..where we'll awaken, with the Dawn;
and feel that "labored breathing",
accompanying our morning yawn.

For Yesterday's reality,
whether, or not we've viewed it, well...
..can play, "hide and seek" with the Future,
causing most individual's hearts to swell.

How many times, have I awakened,
with negativity, cramping my mind ?
Could it possibly be my perceptions,
are causing my "mind's eye" to go blind ?

I try to do all in my power,
to understand Life, and be confusion, free...
..for, the taste in my mouth would be quite sour,
if people would "stumble", from observing me !

I try to lead, by my example,
and not, for just my grand children's "sake";
if everyone's added, around me...
..a "difference", I could possibly make.

Either that, or people'd start dropping like flies,
after trying for year, after year;
to be the "Perfect Example"...
..and bringing everybody, to tears.

So, the only answer to my dilemma,
has to, very well, possibly be...
to NOT be, such a "goody-two-shoes asshole",
setting, all of us totally, "free" !
