Junior
How nice it is that Junior comes to see me.
In reality, he could just shine me on.
But, I'd never give up on him so easily,
I wonder who he'll visit when I am gone.
"Tis through youth, I live my life vicariously,
but, I'm not so far gone I won't survive.
Peace, waits for me for all eternity,
but for now, it just feels good to be alive.
Everyday, I look for Junior to come by my way.
Some days, I wish it with all my might.
It seems he listens to whatever I have to say,
sometimes, he even comes by late at night.
I've made him laugh from all of my misfortunes.
Surprised myself, that I even got inside his head;
and if I were to end up locked, in some dark dungeon,
I know he'd be laughing with me, after I was dead.
It's too bad everybody couldn't share this piece of heaven.
Maybe, I'm the luckiest man on the planet Earth;
because, 'tween family and friends, I've rolled a seven,
and, I don't know what it is I did, to deserve birth.
Surprised myself, that I even got inside his head;
and if I were to end up locked, in some dark dungeon,
