Untamed Heart.

Untamed heart.

Forty years of struggle

my heart still untamed,

I am ashamed

O yes I am ashamed.

Like a river wild it gushes

and jumps like a horse untrained,

I am ashamed

O yes I am ashamed.

Like a dog it sniffs at every pleasure

as though just unchained,

I am ashamed

O yes I am ashamed.

Like a storm it blows

on stretches hidden, and unclaimed,

I am ashamed

O yes I am ashamed.

Like a parrot it repeats

words empty, unchanged,

I am ashamed

O yes I am ashamed.

Take it back mother nature

my heart impure and stained,

I am ashamed

O yes I am ashamed.

I am not ashame

I am not ashame to read your poem. Your 'Untamed Heart' like river, dog, storm and parrot, return to mother Nature and the cycles are complete. Good work. Untamed it may seem, but the heart has gather some useful lessons. O yes I am ashamed of my impure heart. Cheers.

I like this one

It reads like a song. I have two little nit picking problems though. One is the use of bold throughout and the other is the repeat on every verse. I personally think the repeat would have been better utilized on every third verse, but that is just an opinion. Otherwise this is a really good write and I enjoyed reading it.
