reentry

the problem is
there is
a familiar left.

you talk about the new hair cut, bills,
january, the  terribly
casual.

and I enter in
with safe remarks,
rounding the edges.

peeling
for shadowy figures,
some lost center.

This piece touches me with its contrast between the casual and the deeply personal. Thank you for sharing it. Best ~ Ronda

Wow!

Your piece here aptly reminds me of how I've missed seeing new posts by you. You describe (allude to) here, in a superbly powerful way brought home by its subtlety/attention to awkward detail(s), something that most, I think, would find impossible to do. A fine write on a tricky subject. You have my congratulations on it. Thanx, Chuck PS: And I like your valuable comma placement in "with safe remarks, rounding the edges."
