Boy Meets Girl

Part 2

Boy Meets Girl

His walk in the park turns to a jog
as he sees her walking ahead

He catches up, stopping a feet away
to catch his breathe

Just above a whisper
he says, we meet again

She looks back in amazement
as she was thinking about their first encounter

At a loss for words
she forcefully says, surprise seeing you here

They walk the tract, talking for hours
not realizing the sun has set

Barbara

Another well-crafted poem and very tantalizing. Well done. Rett: Whenever I meet and Atheist I think of...nothing at all.
