Seasons

Bone white cold
lacy flakes,
frozen ponds
fish deep beneath frosty lakes.

Tulips, petals delicate
scents of a pastel bouquet,
the harvest of butterflies.

Steamy nights
a silvery white jasmine bloom,
lighting beetle's flickering light
dots in the inky night.

Drops of crystal
cold splashing rain,
puddles to ponds
a kaleidoscope of colors.
