Communication Breakdown

As the thoughts misfire
the message looses it way
the connection between me and you
has been severed it seems for life

The words short-circuit
expressions misdirected
much needed understanding
has lost its wisdom

Perplexities take care,
make a home in saddened hearts;
confusion run rampant with cynicism
and melancholy wins the race.

Why is it so hard to go back
to a place you know was better?

yet again

I know. My "fired" communications blow up in my face. Honesty becomes cruelty. Love becomes pandering. We can only keep trying, what else? At least we have some skill with words, for what it's worth. This touched me in deep perplexity. cheers, Jess

I guess many can relate to this topic

Smiles:) Barbara I wrote this after realizing my interpretation of conversation is normally off after a three way conversation with my daughter and husband. Me relaying a message from her to him, well delivered, but i was the only one didn't get the right understanding. As a reality check, I became aware at that time, motivating me to write this piece. Going through it was deep perplexity for me realizing I am almost always the one out left field As you say we can only keep trying.

Hey I am no one to talk because

I murder the English Langue But Thoughts misfire And a thought misfires I think And the rampage I think would work better as rampant I am not sure but as I always say I see diferently then others so I get confused and missdirected some times I hope you can tolarate my difeintcies for even with my dictinary in hand I am still lost and if I try to correctly due everything I'd end up doing nothing at all thanks again on that conquer thing I would have let concur go on endlesly if you did not concur good health begins in the mind best of luck and I'll say a pray too with luv donnie

If only we could go back to the way we all felt good or back then A puzzle what makes it so difficult I would think hard headedness not willing to believe past the the present and into the future not fully forgiving some think forgiving is forgetting a some of us can't forget sometime we are so scared of the things we don't want we bring them in to being negitivity has a way of manifesting so important to be positve right up to the standing point of jugdement just don't be positve about the negitive That I Guess is what faith is being possitive call me apestimist some times but not an optomist all the time which I or we should be Donnie/ Sinbad
