A Poet's Worse Nightmare

Writing poem day after day is what poets do best.
There are an infinite amount poems to be
pennned, as long as there  is imagination and experiences.

Poems are enduring and they enrich people lives.
They have more meaning than just words.  Inside
a poem is a hidden, cryptic messages, not
everone can understand, poets are rare and their poems are
intense. They are gifted artist, not all are so blessed.
I am fortunate to beable to write my thoughts
and feelings in poetic ritual.  I believe that even
the greatest poets have brown outs. Unable to script a
single poem for quite a period of time.

This is a poets worst nightmare, unable to pen a poem,
no matter how hard they try. The poet just has  to wait
and let time do its bidding.

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I have been in and out of the hospital. I appreciate your comment. I write every day. I love to write but some of them are not neopoet worthy in my opinion. Thank you for your time in reading and making a comment. May God bless you and your poetry. Take care of you!! Sincerely, Pixee

Burn out

I have times when I am not able to write a thought, but then I write crap after crap until the spark flare up again. I wrote about every thought, thing see, thing hear, thing smell, crappy songs or research a topic for debate on another site. Then I post what feel mores like a good piece and wait for critique. Rob Graber can rip you apart with critique in the general poetry forum. I learn why my poem was crappy kicking back at him. Then that's me weird as usual. To me when I can't write or is at loss for words to pen I go deep inside me and their it is. Or I read other people poems get inspire and go inside to find the words. It usually struggles it way out. My acrostic poem Weird was a struggle to write. The next one after it Barely Living came with ease. I never had long periods of time where I weren't able to write, just didn't feel like or wanted to write at times. Respectfully Yours, Barbara

I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I have had some health problems. In and out of the hospital. I wrote in between stays. I know what you mean a about a struggle at times. I do that many times. I do write every day but it isn't neopoet worthy. Just goes to my note book. The one's I pull from the depths sometimes goes on the site. Thank you for taking the time to read and make a comment. Take care of you!! Sincerely, Pixee

Thank you Kelsey

I appreciate your critique. I'm not to good at spelling, as you can well see. I do look up the words, but if I don't know how to spell it, it is hard for me to find it. I rough it, as you can see. I will work on my spelling! Thank you for your keen eyes. Thank you again for your comment. It is always a pleasure to have a great writer like you, like my poems. Take care and nice to hear from you. Sorry so late in responding to you!! Please for give me. Peace, Pixee
