Power Unfold

Summer rains fall—
illumination flashes---
thunder roars---
struck by lightening
pine tree stripped of its bark---

Hi Barbara...

I am a fan of short poems... in this one I think the lines are a bit jumbled.. I see where you were going.. fire burning hot in the rain after lightning strikes... maybe the last line could be the one about the consuming fire.. in any case, I can see the picture.. hope all is well. Richard

Smiles:) Barbara I see your point. will correct. thanks for being so kind. these days are hard on me, not well can't walk without someone helping me. Need walker or wheel chair, but just not ready to for that. legs still strong. doctor diagnosis abnormal gait movement, mobility difficulty. fall over constantly in crowds. got handicap decal Thursday, needed it for years.

Barbara

Very succinct and to the point. Wonderful depiction of a thunder and lightening storm. Can see the tree hit. I lost a beautiful Sycamore right next to my house from a lightening strike. That is I lost it, one TV, one VCR/DVD player, my telephones, the controls for my A/C/Heat unit, one computer LAN card and one dead squirrel. I really hated to lose the tree. It was so beautiful. On a different note, I am sorry you are having so much trouble. I wish there were something I could do.*big sigh* Rett: The perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the wind is blowing, the birds are singing and the lawnmower is broken. "James Dent"
