A Muse's Delusions
I live in a world
of delusions
all my own,
a world
where nothing
is set in stone,
The color of night
changes
with the day,
in my world
of delusions
I think I'll stay,
The muses are here
my sisters
all eight,
yet,
only the chosen
can pass through the gate,
To step in my mind;
a muses
delusions,
leaving behind
the real worlds
confusions,
There are flowers
with colors
no human eyes have seen,
and the trees
all stand
with a languorous lean,
Shades of the sun
are never
the same,
I'll stay
in this world
where my delusions are tame
They are colorful
and fun
and serendipitous
If you want
you can stay
and come and sit with us,
