Mind Eye's Blind

I'm shaking

as I wait my turn

on pre-appointed date,

for cards

to be shuffled

so I could see my fate.

In the back room

crystals hanging

for effect

tarot cards

lay on the table

as she had me

cut the deck.

This psychic certainly

had premonitions

that I could not forsee,

for a reading

with this

fortune teller

had me paying

exorbitant fees!

Excellent, I really liked this and got a big kick out of the ending. She could foresee. *LOL* The exhorbitant fees. I loved it! *LOL* Rett: The perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the wind is blowing, the birds are singing and the lawnmower is broken. "James Dent"

Sometimes, I daresay, even ...

one not psychic can foretell a thing now and then. Exorbitant fees for one, at least nowadays; I expect them. Which is why I'm usually not found shopping ... for gifts (I've become the classic Scrooge), for products, for services, for gas. One of these days I'll move on down to Antarctica. Given enough time, it oughta become warm enough over/down there for tropical living. But then there's the likelihood of mosquito plagues showing up, etc., etc.---and other things I also predict. On the other hand, referring to the current lay of this land, in general I don't anticipate nonexorbitancy (even in fees charged by psychics). Wonder why. Thanx, Chuck
