Would You Like A God?

everybody has one (perhaps)
those that do not..
there is no hope for them
Hell Awaits Their Souls!
until they are sent there
they will undermine
the Godly minority
rest assure conversion
must occur at all cost
for if none agree
choose not to believe
as do those that are sane
in Gods Collective
will forever be threatened
by acts or those that
reject Gods Authority
until the pie-in-the-sky
is served up yonder
Godless Minion will tempt
to defile claimed Innocents
of all the great promises
extracted from scripture
used to moralize the corrupt
those that do good things
just because it is to be done
without all that pious credit
would God have approved?

As a rule I do not respond to poems concerning ones beliefs. But your poem raised a question in my mind. I have very strong beliefs and they probably are quite different than yours , but if I chose not to believe in anything would that make me wrong and you right? Your poem is a good statement of what you believe in and for that I must give credit where credit is due Chrystalie

Not believing is indeed All right,

If only those that believe respected that some are not interested in their belief as well, about this time of year we are hit her on the coast, with Campus Crusades For Christ.. They don't just come-out and tell you they are evangalist, they are sneaky about it.. if they are told "Thank you but I have my own assurance for the after life." they roll their eyes.. really some of them do.. if you share your faith with them, they only listen so that afterwards they can thrash it, in light of theirs. I would not like their god.. I would not like any god.. In ink, Dabbler

What do you mean you don't buy the absolutist, authorative stance of the christian world? Don't you understand that you'd help their numbers, and you'd be a great community project in the mean time? lol. Forgive the sarcasm. Great piece here. I shouldn't love blasphemy/blaspheming as much as I do, but most of it is brought on by others trying to force a belief on me.
