No One Appreciates My Visions... (a nonet)

I sit alone in my padded cell
just because no one else can see
the small elves and the fairies
that I readily can
so they think I'm nuts
trust me my friend
they are real
there's one
now








Nonet = structured poem where first line is 9 syllables, second is 8, third is 7, so on and so forth.  Thanks to Ronda and Marius for getting me hooked on this now!  :~)

I'm 5 feet 10 inches tall, so I guess the magic mushrooms were defective... LOL!! Not bad for my first real structured write ever! I wanted to try to get the underwear gnomes in there, but they're on strike. Elves and fairies stepped up to the plate, though. You gotta try them, they're addictive!
