Two Hearts

Two Hearts

A deceitful heart can lead astray
take the spirit and leave you dead.
An astute heart can distinguish truths,
give back respect, and make alive.

Well written and a lot said in 4 little bitty lines. It touched me. Rett: They say that money talks. Sadly, my wallet has laryngitis!

and what of a...

broken heart? I suppose it took the truth from a treacherous path, and it cracked, as the price for discernment must be paid. Life is a grassy paradise, scattered with broken smiles. Love the write Barbara, really do! Your friend, Mark
