The Library of my Heart

I visit often, the Library of my Heart.
Sometimes I go to reminisce,
and at other times, I find my self
browsing through the volumes,
as I catalogue them
and replace them on the shelves.

There are so many volumes,
I'm really quite taken "aback", at times;
Because I realize that I've been so liberally blessed,
with these episodes of the heart.
And on any given day,
I'm always pleasantly surprised;

for there almost assuredly is a chapter
that I may have forgotten about;
or at least, a page or two that'll raise a brow,
fill me with a certain sorrow, or even cause me to laugh at loud...
....and it really startles me.......the "noise".
Because every once in a great while, I tend to forget.......it is a "Library".

I've noticed...

....your comments, of late; and I must say that I'm rather impressed at the "depth" of insight, that you share. You really say what you feel, making your remarks "uniquely relatable", in a competent sort of way; and I thank you for posting them. I'm not as eloquent, therefore, I shall merely take my fedora off, to you. Thanks, doc.

I believe drums...

....and percussion in general, to be a completely "unisexual" instrument. Think of it, we may not all have a melody, or a bass, or horn "line" in each of us...but,we all DO have a rythm, or beat that we adhere to. That's probably why they say, "moving to the beat of a different drummer", right? At any rate, if you would you care to read another posting along these lines, check out my poem, The Harmonicat towards the end of my 2nd page of listings, and let me know if you can relate. Thanx, #:>) doc.
