Table top entrophy
sit close by the table lamp
we drink and carelessly
gaze about the weekend
dancers
grab a waitress on the
way pastOrder another tray of
drinks
slip yet another twenty
away
fall further into mystic
deep transfixed by alcohol
your eyes aglow are
magnificently shattering
not a blue not a green
encompassed by the
path of rich dark orbits
and grand lashs
and the sadness
that holds my gravity
draws me down
like a tide
I sit wandering my heart
already wounded
round perceptions
there is no pinpoint
no place to call a pivot
so close we lean to talk
lean back to laugh
your souls anguish
written in pallid hues
is drowning all my
reasoning
I am falling
like a hundred
losses
just one look
tears apart
my barren
defences
I have
never
been
the
same
since
