The Hole Truth

The Hole Truth

For every hole
That lies
Inside
A doughnut,
There bides
A larger hole
Outside
That doughnut.

                                ---barbsdad

"Where's that dumb old hole?"

asked guileless Alice
sans but slightest hint

of undue malice.

"Where is the rabbit's hole?
Where can it possibly be?

Can you tell? Can you see?"

….were it not for the hole

....were it not for the hole would there be something to fill? You are way too cool, barb's dad... let me ask you this... did you ever see just where that Cheshire grin disappeared to? Hmmmm. I think I just found it. ;-) Anna

chuckles

Very entertaining read, Chuck. I love the quote at the beginning, and thought you were going to get all philosphical (or technical) and then Alice came along.... lol! Nice job! (btw, don't let those goats know you have doughnuts, they'll mow you over trying to get to 'em!)
