A

Water Dance

Upon the water’s surface
Magically
I waltz

Eight tiny springs propel me
In total silence,
The absence of music
In no way stealing from my dance

Safe and dry upon a bridge
You watch me in fascination

The bridge is classic, organic
Looks like it grew there
Across this tiny
Seemingly insignificant creek I call my universe

Your eyes are locked
Rapturous and unbelieving

My magical dance continues
Unacknowledged,
And me, unacknowledging
For you are just another towering tree
Standing guard to the infinite
The infinite flow of life and universe,
The destiny of
The humble water bug.

Alobar...

I sure like your writing... and the very idea of the water bug being the author is excellent and well executed..refreshing! maybe the last line could be better.? or not.. the destiny, writings... I don't know.. in any case I thought it was a wonderful poem.. Richard

Alobar

Great imagination here, and nice prospective from a humble water bug!
