Kalediscope Eyes
Water colored skies, a backdrop
for crayoned cirrus clouds
a scissor-moon rests
among chalk-dabbed stars,
the collage of an innocent child.
A shadowed presence
beckoned him to
finger paint in
dark eerie shades
intrusions,
perplexing the mind.
The scissor-moon lies
fractured
chalk stars extinguished
clouds transformed
into demons
skies flow blood-red wine.
Normalcy lost in
a distorted collage
never to be
mirrored again
in those tainted
kalediscope eyes.
for crayoned cirrus clouds
a scissor-moon rests
among chalk-dabbed stars,
the collage of an innocent child.
A shadowed presence
beckoned him to
finger paint in
dark eerie shades
intrusions,
perplexing the mind.
The scissor-moon lies
fractured
chalk stars extinguished
clouds transformed
into demons
skies flow blood-red wine.
Normalcy lost in
a distorted collage
never to be
mirrored again
in those tainted
kalediscope eyes.
