Invisible

There, not present
notice, though not seen
in attendance, but dearth
at hand, not detected

Absent, vacant chairs
discern, set apart,
Seats occupied, invisible
returned unnoticed

I am not realy sure

When I start reading your poem my thoughts reminded me of Nicolaus Cusanus writings, but then a image of an big empty audition room. I think that there might be a deep philosophical message or just an image of a real place - I am not sure! ;) Maybe you can clear my thoughts about. Sincerely, Marius

Nicolaus Cusanus writings

Smiles:) Barbara Never heard of him before, very interesting person I looked up his name, a famous writer with much troubles. He was very religious, a bishop. Not always liked. I saw a lot of info about him, but not much of what he wrote about. Deep philosophical message- I am writing about the deeper things in life. Meanings that usually stay hidden and go unnoticed. As you suspect it is not a real place, but a message. Thanks for noticing that

Hi Barbara......

I read, then re-read twice more, Deep very Deep, almost total isolation, Attending a public place.Park springs to mind, But, well, like being there, but not, not being noticed, nothing said, that very depressive state of mind, Don't care, to wrapped up, lost within yourself,.......... Please let me know....I believe this is it,.....As i have been there, Very Best Regards Peter ~~~~~~~~~Creativity Is to think more efficiently~~~~~~~~~~

Thanks Marius and Peter

Smiles:) Barbara Really appreciate your reading this and commenting. Peter you have it right. It is just that isolation. It is like being exiled on a lonely island though not on any lonely island.

sincerely, Marius....

Nicolaus Cusanus wrote a lot of philosophical works. Basically, his idea on the philosophical writings was the negativist philosophy. That's why I mentioned him, because I observed negations like "not present", "not seen", "not detected". Cheers and have a nice day!

negativist pholosophy

Smiles:) Barbara Far from being a persistent defiance of authority and refusal to obey instructions, I do the best I can to understand what is expected and do it the best I know though not always successfully, so it may seem I am a negative person of what is positive. far from the truth. I can't see the negation in the words I use. It is isolation just as Peter said. did not respond to your comment at first did not know what you meant or who niculaus c. was. You are wrong, I have no problem with authority and instructions. This attitude sounds like the attitude our young people today. Have a good day

sorry...

Hi Barbara. Sorry for I was misunderstood. What I wanted to say was the fact that Nicolaus Cusanus brought in front of our eyes good perspectives but he used negations, that's why I said what I said in my comment. Of course your text is not negative and doesn't express a negativist thought. About authority and instructions I did not said anything. Sorry for all that, if I knew I would be misunderstood, I wouldn't post the comment. Indeed you presented what you've felt and I am ok with the idea. There's no problem. About the thing that this attitude sounds like young people I do not know what to say, I have no clue where is the connection with that - I am far away of thinking something like that. Once again I am sorry because it went something else than I wanted to say. Have a good day also Best regards, Marius

I am sorry

Smiles:) Barbara My vocabulary of words is limited and as well the meaning, therefore I must look up words to know what a person is saying. Negation words, has a strong negative meaning and having teens I get front row seat as to the attitude many have and it is as this words describes for the many, but not all young people are like that. Sorry again, I should have known better. Much to learn about making friends.

The point and counter-point in this was very good. Nice write, short, yet to the point. ~Jess K. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ~ "Those who dance are considered insane by those who can't hear the music.
