Disasters of the Heart

Family members let you down
or a friend turns their back,
or your Lover's left you all alone
and you know you can't do "jack".

To repair your broken spirit
you don't know where to start,
quite simply, there is no cure
for disasters of the heart.

Living a life of lonliness
a life that's full of pain,
you've got nothing more to lose
and yet, not much to gain;

if Fate had a solution
you'd gladly do your "part",
quite simply, there's no refuge
from a disaster of the heart.
