The Box, The Wish

I have not forgotten you
You are in a tiny box on a tiny shelf in my tiny home,
It is a place of honour

And though I rarely even dust that box
And rarer still is it opened
There is always a smile of reminiscence contained within
And I know this
And this is usually enough

I hope you understand and wish
Wistfully
You have a tiny box of your own
And rarely need to open it
Or to remember.

Smiles:) Barbara There is always a smile of reminiscence contained within---great line This is really a great write. The Box is where fond memories are kept or at least where I would put them, rarely dust or open. Something usually trigger a fond moment from the past.
