The Box, The Wish
I have not forgotten you
You are in a tiny box on a tiny shelf in my tiny home,
It is a place of honour
And though I rarely even dust that box
And rarer still is it opened
There is always a smile of reminiscence contained within
And I know this
And this is usually enough
I hope you understand and wish
Wistfully
You have a tiny box of your own
And rarely need to open it
Or to remember.
