I've opened the window to spot the sunrise
and I saw you
I've bent myself to feel the nature
and I discerned your silhouette
Then I've opened the door to look for my joy
and I found you
I've travelled the whole world
and I discovered you
Unexpectedly I've opened my eyes
and I saw myself

In that split second I started to cry!!!

Almost...

Like a dream that you've just woken up from. A little expansion perhaps? ~Lynn (Jess K.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ~ "Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the hell is the ceiling??"

Facts

This poem was beautiful. Your choice of words were perfect. A great poem is when the reader can actually picture themselves inside the words. I opened my eyes and saw myself also. Very well written. Exalt to you!

mmm, very interesting...

ever read Jung? anima/animus. There is a slight ambiguity, that moment of recognition, is it narcissism or anima reflecting what you need? Don't explain, the poem doesn't need it, just my rumbling ruminations. cheers, Jess
