No Angels

                                          Through my lifes fast pulsing,
                                                         I have found
                                                  that only sometimes
                                               we seem void of angels.

We find no fairy tale endings.
                                                    No heroic rescues
from sudden bouts of our heartache
                                                and inevitable adversity.

                                            We have found no reversals
                                       for the hourglasses that measure
                                                     our ongoing trials,
and time spent on this spinning earth.

We are eluded of the helping hands
                                                who reach out suddenly,
                                             reaching confident and calm
                                      to help through unexpected struggle.

                                              However,we find in the end
while face to face with the sunset
                                              that the same battles today
                                          will greet our reserve tomorrow.

Dance of calm inevitability

I really liked this one, there is very little I would change. Just do more I think (writing I mean) It moves in a really nice dance of calm inevitabilty & places life ironies in a more palatable place... connecting us all, since we recognise some of these experiences or perceptions ourselves. Anni I wish to walk gracefully..... so as not to spill water.
