Split Decision
I was once informed of the ludicrous idea
that here were only two kinds of people in this world.
There are the optimists and the pessimists.
The argument being was this;
although optimism would be the favored of the two,
they would be perpetually dissapointed,
whereas their pessimistic counter-halves,
would forever more be, pleasantly and continually surprised.
After my complete perusal,
and surveying other's opinions,
there were other definate schools of thought.
For instance, good verses evil,
givers and takers, teachers and students,
lovers and fighters, Republicans or the Democrats,
the rich and the poor, the attractive and the ugly,
and finally...the men and the women.
Finally, after careful consideration...
as well as serious deliberations,
I ended up with one final conclusion.The world cannot be made up of, merely "total opposites"...
life just isn't that simple.
In my heart of hearts, there may be only two types of people...
those that believe that there are two types of people,
and, of course.....those that don't.
