Riding the Night
A spiritual connection
that crosses all divides,
A light that shines in every corner
where every shadow hides,
A dream that's shared
by kindred souls
and felt by phantom hands,
A lover known,
but not yet met,
far off in distant lands,
A wealth of knowledge
in just one look,
if only I could see,
My saving grace
who slays the dragon
and rides the night with me.
that crosses all divides,
A light that shines in every corner
where every shadow hides,
A dream that's shared
by kindred souls
and felt by phantom hands,
A lover known,
but not yet met,
far off in distant lands,
A wealth of knowledge
in just one look,
if only I could see,
My saving grace
who slays the dragon
and rides the night with me.
