About You (in a glance)

we met before you are sure of it
with a few vague references
the name of your high school
perhaps even the mascot
is mentioned

when I ask you a token favor
you are right to hesitate
I can assure you with jargon
that "the higher ups"
will never suspect a thing

everybody wants to relate
in some familiar way
I just glean  you once
with an acute attention
for your familiar button

Everybody is aware of people who seem to be strangers...

strange how people are seldom aware of people who seem to know them. Relating to a persons private life is sometimes more effective then waving a fake badge. Information gleaned from your car and its contents alone will tell the generl information need to locate you at a later time. In ink, Dabbler ps not only is a sucker born every minute, they usually advertise when they are ready to be harvested.

Teaching us the tricks of the trade?

Isn't that a no-no, like magicians revealing their tricks? I think you could make this a bit more scary, something like -I have you now! Nya nya nyaaa. You know what I mean. cheers, Jess

What trade would that be?

"No Jimm works here pal..." "Your the second sap thats come in here looking for that lousy ferkir." More to come, but first, "have you tried "Tried And True" for your sniffles? "Tried and True" will make you "Aachoo Less" ! Stay tuned. Dabbler inc.
