The church of I don't give a ........

nothing really matters
life can really suck
I have been anointed the high priest
of the church of I don't give a fuck
you can gather here to worship
the gods of pain and hate
cuz every damned one of us
is here to fucking stay
my eyes are cold and jaded
and midnights finally struck
so listen up my children
there’s no such thing as luck
the deck is stacked against us
its a world run amok
face the facts my brethren
we are all disciples
in the church of I don't give a fuck

Hey Z...

I'm a deacon there..lol this is very good.. funny with a twist of truth after all we are only here to die...oooooh it is what we do inbetween that matters. I like to read a poem out loud. this one sounds good coming out of me except a couple of lines were long.. I don't think I'd change it though.. and after reading a couple of times it flowed. Richard

thanks richard i felt the same way about some of the lines when i first wrote it but when i tried to change it the flow didnt seem right

Cool this is really straightforward and with no hangups. I like that there's an extra line at the end...don't know why but it's cool.
