Tribute to Aziza - wrote when the body was filled with music

Tribute to Aziza - wrote when the body was filled with music

Rain drops falling from the jingle
of a jazz song liquefied
under the piano’s chords
Yellow shapes reflecting the gleam
of a vicious sax
and body losing weight in ambience
Lady speaking loud to my hub thoughts,
asking for fantasies…
Hands thrilling on the knee
that ran from the body
and moon falling apart
in the design of
the dogs’ crazy roars!
Smoke burrows the brain’s
empty places
and mugs from a whole body
reshaped into the dark
Weird lost laughing for the ghosts
dancing on a damp floor –
there are no verbal expressions
but flight on the river
of a haven’s damnation
ecstasy;
nor feelings but inner proofs…
Aziza’s passion sang my
entire body...

Music

I can think of no better inspiration than music - it transports us with rhythm and notes - even if we do not understand the lyrics or if there are no lyrics at all - we can be moved and sometimes when the singer and words sung combine to find us in our deepest dwelling of solitude - it rips us out of ourselves and flings us into the air and we are free - I love this piece - I'll have to listen to Aziza sometime. Sincerely, Amara

thank you Amara...

Indeed and you're absolutely right. Many of my poems were written when I had listened in my ear-phones excellent songs. Actually many of Aziza's tracks are without lyrics and we have just to understand the images beneath. I wrote the poem when listen the "Passion" song from Aziza. If you have the possibility to listen the song in the same time when reading my poem you'll know what I meant. Thank you again for your kind comment! Best regards, Marius
