Remember Me

Remember me
Not with sadness
But with joy

That I am a young spirit
full of life
Always looking for a new adventure
Never too old for new experiences
With a yearning for knowledge

As with music
Every note an inspiration
A new vision
The taste of Love's sweet wine

So do not shed tears of sadness
But let me hear the joy of laughter
The sound of music
Which is forever deep in my soul

I am the bud that blooms
In the warmth of the morning sunshine
The soft wind in the trees

I will touch your face
As a summer's breeze
This warm feeling
You will know
I am with you
Always

So sprinkle my ashes
Amongst the wild flowers
to rise on the wind

So I may travel the universe
Over mountains and seas
So deep in your heart
I will always be

Such a beautiful, simple but deep

expression of being a part of the stream of life Maggie. I was very moved by the sentiments you express here. It flows softly and with great feeling. The only minor point that i felt did not work quite as well was the use of three "so"s beginning lines in the last two verses. "So" is such a strongly pronounced sound that it can dominate everything else if repeated too much. Keith

Remember me

Hi Keith Well i wrote this some years ago but it is still present as I ask myself who would ever know of my passing but me and hopefully go to a petter place at sometime maybe i can submerge into one of my own creations Ha! But i have this constant urge to travel to find what i do not know but to enjoy and explore what is out there.
