My thoughts upon this midnight hour

My thoughts upon this midnight hour
lost their sweetness and have become sour
from the tarot deck I am the tower
toppled down by lightnings power

Change is coming ,but when,I say
will it it come to late, will I rue the day
will I get my turn, will I have my way
will I be able to keep these demon's at bay

At least long enough for change to take place
just long enough to adjust to the pace
Of the mighty chariots fateful race
to see the world upon your face

The midnight hour

So, I imagine Lacy that this is expressing a strong desire to be able to hold things together long enough to allow you to look directly into the face of someone who you now feel can show you the way to reach the light you crave to release you from the hold of the shadows. I love the Tarot imagery and the tone of your words although perhaps i was expecting you to develop your hope and its vision a little more. Small point...should be "lightning's" and "Chariot's". Punctuation in the second verse should be: Change is coming ,but when,I say? Will it it come to late, will I rue the day? Will I get my turn, will I have my way? Will I be able to keep these demon’s at bay? always Proff.
