Black Widow

Black Widow

She waits

In solitary dreaming

with kisses seared

in her soul's

eidetic memory

her eyes becloud

sliding closed

in the wispy fragment

of faded ecstasy

in her mind

she drinks deeply

of his loving

a laden sigh

escapes trembling lips

drifting

in the midnight air

from her open window

her mind reaches

to enfold him

in a lover's embrace

...Remembering...

his words from the zenith

of their expending passion...

"I would die for your love"

moans he

...Sharply...

her dagger enters

through his back

it's dainty tip

gently piercing his heart

lips caressing his

with her parting lover's locution

"Yes my love, and so you shall..."

Only one thing

Spiders eyes never close. I know, I know, it's a minor point but that's the way my mind works. I enjoyed the rhythm and pacing of the piece and even though I was not surprised at any of the circumstances, they were presented very well and it was a joy to read. --Jonathan Annoying the world, one person at a time (Group discounts available)
